Slobodno učešće građana u izbornom procesu ključno za demokratiju
Mreža nevladinih organizacija za demokratiju, razvoj i bezbednost poziva građane i građanke Srbije da iskoriste svoje biračko pravo, izađu na izbore 3. aprila i glasaju slobodno, u skladu sa svojim uverenjima i oslobođeni od bilo kakvih pritisaka.
Biračko pravo jedno je od najjačih oružja koje građanima i građankama stoji na raspolaganju, a učešće u izbornim procesima što većeg broja građana garantuje kredibilnost demokratskih izbora.
Očekujemo da sve institucije uključene u izborni proces svoj posao rade u skladu sa zakonom i da iskoriste sva svoja zakonska ovlašćenja da sprovedu regularno, fer i demokratsko glasanje i obezbede poštovanje izborne volje građana i građanki.
Pozivamo sve nadležne organe da osiguraju primenu zakona, da reaguju u svim slučajevima kršenja zakona bez izuzetka i da na taj način doprinesu regularnosti izbornog procesa. Isto tako, pozivamo sve članove biračkih odbora da u skladu sa zakonom prate glasanje, reaguju na sve nepravilnosti ili povrede biračkog prava i sve prigovore unesu u zapisnike sa biračkih mesta, budući da su upravo biračka mesta ta na kojima se sabira volja građanki i građana.
Ostajemo posvećeni izgradnji demokratskog društva, demokratskih predstavničkih institucija.

NGO Network Calls Citizens to Take Part in the Democratic Election Process
The NGO Network for Democracy, Development and Security calls on the citizens of Serbia to exercise their right to vote, go out to the polls on 3 April, and vote freely, according to their own beliefs and free from coercion.
The right to vote is one of the most powerful tools of the citizens, and the more people who partake in the elections, the more credible and democratic the voting process becomes.
We expect all institutions included in the election process to perform their duties according to the law and to utilise all of their powers to ensure standard, fair and democratic voting takes place and to adhere to the expressed will of the citizens.
We call upon all governing authorities to ensure the application of the law, to react in cases of breach, without exception, thus contributing to the legality of the election process. At the same time, we call upon all members of the polling stations to monitor voting in line with the law, to react to any irregularities or breaches of the right to vote and to record any complaints in the Polling Station Records, as polling stations are where the will of the citizens’ will is being collected.
We remain dedicated in our quest to ensure the further development of a democratic society and democratic representative institutions.
